The Santa Fe Estate Planning Council fosters respect and intelligent communication between professionals in estate planning and with the public. Of concern are public perceptions of estate planning and credentials, standards and high professional levels for planners.

The council holds monthly luncheon meetings, often with a speaker to explore an aspect of estate planning in New Mexico. Other meetings allow members and guests to network over lunch.

Santa Fe Estate Planning Council is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
